NOTIFICATION
This year "Karam Puja" will be observed on 22nd September, 2026 (Tuesday). In partial modification to Finance Department Memo No. 4188-F(P2) dated 27th November, 2025, the Governor has been pleased to declare the date i.e. 22nd September, 2026 (Tuesday) as State Government holiday for the State Government Offices, Local Bodies, Statutory Bodies, Boards, Corporations, Undertakings controlled or owned by the State Government, Educational Institutions, and other offices/institutions under the control of Government of West Bengal and also for the employees of Tribal Communities employed in Tea Gardens all over the State.
