Jal Dharo Jal Bharo (জল ধরো জল ভরো — ‘Hold Water, Fill Water’) is a flagship environmental scheme of the West Bengal government aimed at rainwater harvesting, water body conservation, and groundwater recharge. The scheme focuses on desilting ponds, excavating new water bodies, and building check dams to conserve rainwater for agricultural and domestic use.
