Ref: Memo No. 552-Sc/Ap/OM-01A-2026 t dated 13.05.2026 of the Commissioner of School Education, West Bengal
Subject: Observance of Summer Vacation in recognised Madrasahs in terms of the order issued by the School Education Department, Government of West Bengal.
The Competent Authority is hereby pleased to order that the Summer Vacation, originally scheduled to commence from 25th May, 2026 in terms of Memo No. 47/Aca/25 dated 05.12.2025 of the Board, is hereby preponed and scheduled as 14th May, 2026 to 31st May 2026.
This order shall be applicable to all recognized Madrasahs under the jurisdiction of the Board across the State of West Bengal, excluding those situated in Hill Areas.
It is further ordered that all other holidays and provisions as stipulated in the aforesaid Memo No. 47/Aca/25 dated 05.12.2025 of the Board shall remain unchanged and in force. All above Madrasahs shall reopen on and from 1st June, 2026. All concerned are requested to ensure strict compliance with this Order.
