NSP framework migrates to "One Student – Multiple Scholarships" for AY 2026-27; eligible students can now avail one Merit scholarship plus multiple Welfare scholarships simultaneously, per OM dated 12.11.2025.

NOTIFICATION

Important Notice: National Scholarship Portal (NSP) – AY 2026–27

The Ministry of Education, Government of India, vide OM no. D-12011/01/2025-DBT Dated 12.11.2025, has introduced important changes to the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) for the Academic Year 2026–27.

Key Highlights:

  • The NSP framework has been updated fromΒ “One Student – One Scholarship”Β toΒ “One Student – Multiple Scholarships”.
  • Eligible students can now avail one Merit-based Scholarship along with multiple Welfare-based Scholarships, subject to the respective scheme eligibility criteria.
  • Students are advised to carefully read the revised guidelines and FAQs available on the National Scholarship Portal before applying.

All eligible students are encouraged to apply within the stipulated timeline once the NSP portal opens for AY 2026–27.
