NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the power conferred by sub-section (2) of section 4 of the Prohibition of Employment as Manual Scavengers and their Rehabilitation Act, 2013 (25 of 2013), the Governor is pleased hereby to appoint the 5th day of December, 2016, as the date within which the Municipalities shall construct adequate number of sanitary community latrines, so as to eliminate the practice of open defecation in their respective jurisdiction.
2. This notification shall come into force with immediate effect.
