NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1), and sub-section (7), of section 15 of the Right to Information Act, 2005 (22 of 2005) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Governor is pleased hereby to constitute with immediate effect, a body to be known as the West Bengal Information Commission with its headquarters at Kolkata, to exercise the powers conferred on, and to perform the functions assigned to; it under the said Act.
