If you have completed your Madhyamik exams and are you suffered for finding your job in the market in West Bengal. You have great news for the state is rolling out a financial assistance program designed for unemployed youth for their next big opportunity.

Who is eligible?

This scheme specifically aimed at the “educated unemployed applicants in West Bengal.

  • Academic Background: You must have passed your Madhyamik (Secondary) exams or an equivalent qualification.
  • Age limit: You are between 18 and 40 years old.
  • Current Status: You must be a resident of West Bengal and currently unemployed.
  • One Important Note: If you are already receiving a scholarship or are covered under another social security scheme, you won’t be eligible for this specific program.

The Details:

The scheme offers ₹1,500 per month. It’s not a permanent salary, but rather a bridge to help you get where you’re going.

The money is sent via Direct Benefit Transfer, meaning it goes straight into your bank account—no middleman, no checks in the mail. You can receive this support for a maximum of five years, or until you land a job, whichever comes first.

  • Applications Open: February 15, 2026.
  • Deadline: February 26, 2026.
  • When do payments start? If your application is approved, the benefits kick in on April 1, 2026.

Application forms will be distributed and collected at college and university campuses across the state during the application window (Feb 15–26).
