About Aikyashree
Aikyashree (আইক্যশ্রী) is the West Bengal government’s flagship scholarship scheme for students from six notified minority communities — Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain, and Zoroastrian. Launched vide memo No. 1203-MD dated 20.06.2019, it provides pre-matric and post-matric scholarships to ensure that financial constraints do not hinder the education of minority students. The scheme is administered by the West Bengal Minority Development & Finance Corporation (WBMDFC) and covers students from Class 1 to PhD level.
