📖 About Leave Salary Encashment
When an employee retires or dies while in service, they are eligible for encashment of earned leave up to 300 days or leave due, whichever is less — as per Finance Department Memo No. 4625-F dated 26.05.1999.
Max Leave Salary = (Basic + DA + MA) × 300 ÷ 30
The daily rate is computed by dividing monthly emoluments by 30. Leave salary is then calculated by multiplying the daily rate by the number of leave days (capped at 300).
