MEMORANDUM
Sub: Release of bills pertaining to arrear Pay & Allowances under W.B.S. (ROPA) Rules, 2009 in respect of retired Government employees.
The undersigned is directed to convey the decision of the Government that bills pertaining to arrear Pay & Allowances under West Bengal Services (Revision of Pay & Allowances) Rules, 2009 in respect of eligible retired Government employees may be released in fully by the Kolkata Pay & Accounts offices/ Treasuries in anticipation of allotment of fund in case there is any shortfall of allotment.
The resultant shortfall shall have to be recouped by the concerned Drawing & Disbursing officer by seeking allotments from concerned Heads of Departments.
