NOTIFICATION
WHEREAS by this Department Notification No. 346-TW/EC/M-6/82(1), dated the 13th July, 1994 (hereinafter referred to as the said notification), the backward classes for the purposes of the West Bengal Commission for Backward Classes Act, 1993 (West Ben. Act I of 1993) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) have been specified in the List to the said notification;
NOW, THEREFORE, in pursuance of the provision of clause (a), read with clause (c), of section 2, and sub-section (2) of section 9 of the said Act, the Governor is pleased hereby to make with immediate effect, the following amendment in the said notification :-
Amendment
In the said notification, in the LIST, for serial number 11 and the entries relating thereto, substitute the following serial number and entries relating thereto
“11. Goala, Gope (PallavGope, BallavGope, YadavGope, Gope, Ahir and Yadav)”.
