Subject: Augmentation of Ministerial Staff Strength in West Bengal Police Directorate.
The U/s is directed to refer to his Memo. No. 23-Estt. Dtd. 11.01.2011 on the above subject and to say that the Governor has been pleased to approve his proposal for augmentation of 14 (Fourteen) different posts of Ministerial Staff comprising 06 (Six) posts of Lower Division Assistant (PB-2, Grade Pay Rs. 2,600/-), 06 (Six) posts of Upper Division Assistant (PB-3, Grade Pay Rs. 3600/-), 01 (One) post of Head Assistant (PB-3, Grade Pay Rs. 3900/-) and 01 (One) post of Special Officer (in the Pay band of Rs. 9000 – 40,500/ with Grade Pay Rs. 5400/-) in West Bengal Police Directorate for smooth functioning of different wings under its control.
2. The above recruitment may be made as per extant recruitment rules.
3. This has the concurrence of Fin. Department vide their U/O No. 742, Gr-P(2), Date 02.05.2013.
4. The Principal Accountant General (A&E), West Bengal is being informed.
