Deputy Financial Advisor & Accounts Officer
The eligibility criteria and terms and conditions of the engagement are as below:
i. Age: Not exceeding 64 years as on 01.01.2018.
ii. Qualification: Must be a retired member of West Bengal Audit & Accounts Service.
iii. Duties & Responsibilities: The Deputy Financial Advisor & Accounts Officer shall discharge duties and responsibilities under the overall supervision of the concerned Financial Advisor of the concerned administrative department.
iv. Period of engagement: The period of engagement of Deputy Financial Advisor & Accounts Officer will be for 1 (one) year from the date of appointment or attainment of 65 years of age whichever earlier. Engagement will be purely on contract basis and is terminable after expiry of 1 (one) year.
v. Remuneration: Remuneration of retired officers engaged on contract shall be made in terms of Finance Department Order No. 3951-F, dated 27.05.2009 (Basic pay drawn on the date of retirement minus basic pension before commutation).
vi. Place of Posting: Kolkata & Siliguri.
vii. Process of Application: Interested candidates are requested to apply as per the enclosed “Application Form” and submit the same to the Deputy Secretary, WBA&AS Cell, Group T, Writers’ Buildings, Ground Floor, Block IV, Kolkata 700 001 in sealed envelope super scribing “Application for the post of Deputy Financial Advisor/Accounts Officer (as the case may be) under FA set up” positively by 12.12.2017. Duly signed scanned copy of the application can also be sent on the Email Id srmscell.fin-wb@gov.in within due date. Candidates may apply for the post of Deputy Financial Advisor & Accounts Officer simultaneously but application for each post should be accompanied by separate duly filled up application form.
viii. Mode of Selection: Deputy Financial Advisor & Accounts Officer under Financial Advisor set up will be selected on the basis of interview to be conducted by the “Selection Committee” of the Finance Department.
ix. Number of Vacancy:
i. Deputy Financial Advisor: 10 (Ten).
ii. Accounts Officer : 20 (Twenty).
x. Closing date of application: 12.12.2017.
