All the WB Treasuries /Pay & Account Offices will be kept open on 31.03.2026
This memorandum, numbered 1165 – F(Y) and dated 30th March 2026, is issued by the Finance Department, Government of West Bengal. It modifies a previous order to extend the operational hours of all Treasuries and Pay & Account Offices, allowing them to remain open on 31st March 2026 for processing bills and advices related to the closing financial year.

MEMORANDUM
In terms of this Department’s Memorandum No. 705 – F(Y) dated 20.02.2026, the Treasuries and Pay& Account Offices were allowed to accept bills /advices pertaining to Financial Year 2025-2026 till 4 P.M. of 30.03. 2026
Now, in partial modification of the Memo No. ibid, it has been decided to keep all the. Treasuries /Pay & Account Offices open on 31.03.2026.
Bills/ Advices related to Allotment / Sanction orders (including JIT SPARS I-I) issued on 31.03.2026 and in late hours of 30.03.2026 can be received by the Treasuries/ PAOs up to 4 P.M. of 31.03.2026 only.
However, Government Receipts for Financial Y car 2025-26 will be received till the midnight of 31.03.2026 or till such date and time as to be decided by the Reserve Bank of India. All such Receipts shall be duly incorporated into the monthly Accounts for the month of March 2026.
