GPF Interest Rules (WB): The current GPF interest rate is 7.1% per annum (FY 2024-25), set annually by the Government of India. Interest is calculated on the balance at the end of each financial year. Minimum monthly subscription is 6% of Basic Pay; maximum is 100% of emoluments subject to an annual ceiling of ₹5,00,000. Advance withdrawal is permitted for specific purposes as per GPF Rules.
