About Parijayee Sahay Prakalpa
Parijayee Sahay (পরিযায়ী সহায়) is a welfare scheme launched by the West Bengal government on 1st July 2021 to support migrant workers who come to West Bengal from other states for employment. The scheme provides free dry ration, social security and financial assistance to eligible migrant workers and their dependants who cannot access the Public Distribution System in West Bengal. The scheme is implemented by the Labour Commissionerate, West Bengal through the Karmasathi Parijayee Shramik portal. It has since been expanded with the Shramshree Scheme (2025) which provides ₹5,000/month to Bengali workers returning from other states.

₹50,000 – ₹1,00,000
₹50,000 for 40%–80% disability; ₹1,00,000 for above 80% disability caused during work.
ℹ️ Shramshree Scheme (linked): Bengali migrant workers returning to West Bengal after facing harassment or job loss in other states can get ₹5,000/month for up to 1 year under the Shramshree Scheme via the same Karmasathi portal.
For Parijayee Sahay (Migrant workers coming TO West Bengal):
- Worker must be a permanent resident of any Indian State or Union Territory other than West Bengal
- Currently employed or seeking employment within West Bengal
- Cannot avail food grains under the Public Distribution System in West Bengal
- Dependants living with the migrant worker in West Bengal are also eligible for ration benefit
For Parijayee Shramik / Shramshree (West Bengal workers going OUT of state):
- Must be a permanent resident of West Bengal
- Must have worked in another Indian state or abroad and returned to West Bengal after hardship, harassment, or job loss
- Must be registered on the Karmasathi Parijayee Shramik portal with valid documents
- Should not be receiving any other similar financial assistance from the WB government
⚠️ Important: No claim is admissible if the beneficiary is already receiving similar financial assistance of the same nature from any other Government of West Bengal scheme.

Visit the official portal: karmasathips.wb.gov.in or download the Shramshree App (Android only)

Click on “New Registration” and enter your mobile number, then verify via OTP

Fill in personal details — name, age, address, caste, date of birth, gender, emergency contact and nominee details

Enter employment details — place of work outside West Bengal, nature of work, employer details

Add bank account details (must be Aadhaar-linked) and upload all required documents
6
Submit the form — you will receive a unique Registration Number for tracking your application status
