WBBSE has notified WBSSC-recommended Post Graduate Assistant Teacher candidates to appear for document verification, including PVR, at Derozio Bhawan on 30-31 July 2026 with original testimonials.

NOTIFICATION

Intimation to the listed candidates as recommended by West Bengal School Service Commission (Teaching XI-XII) for verification of testimonials following vide earlier notification No. 208/Sec/Appt-Cell/23 dated 03-07-2023 of WBBSE.

Candidates are requested to bring their original copies of all documents/testimonials for verification along with One Self Attested Photocopy of documents for submission on 30-07-2026 and 31-07-2026, 11:00 a.m. for record at WBBSE, Derozio Bhawan (1st Floor, Meeting Room), DJ-8, Sector-II, Salt Lake, Kol-700091.

Mandatory documents required for verification at West Bengal Board of Secondary Education prior to issuance of appointment for the Post(s) of Assistant Teacher (Post Graduate):

  1. Three (03) Hard copies of Police Verification Report (P.V.R.) Rolls enclosed herewith, each duly signed by any 1st Class Gazetted Officer. P.V.R.(s) should be filled by blue ink ball point pen only. (N.B.- Candidates residing outside of West Bengal must mention their local address within West Bengal at Column No. 3 ‘Present address’ of the Verification Roll).
  2. Admit Card of the concerned Recruitment Examination conducted by West Bengal Central School Service Commission. (If candidate has been selected for personality test in any other category of 2nd SLST, 2025 then admit card of that category is also to be provided)
  3. Recommendation letter issued by West Bengal Central School Service Commission.
  4. One photo bearing document (viz. Aadhar/EPIC/PAN/Driving License/Passport).
  5. Caste or EWS Certificate issued by the Competent authority, if applicable.
  6. Disability Certificate issued by the Competent authority, if applicable.
  7. Two (02) coloured Passport size photographs, same as in the Recommendation letter.
  8. Admit Card of Madhyamik Pariksha (Secondary Examination) OR equivalent as proof of date of birth.
  9. Mark Sheet(s) & Final Pass Certificate(s) of Master Degree (Post Graduate) in the relevant Subject.
  10. Mark Sheet(s) & Final Pass Certificate(s) of B.Ed. Degree.
  11. Marriage Certificate/Affidavit sworn before any 1st Class Judicial Magistrate (for married female candidate’s only), if necessary.
  12. Those who have passed examination from different universities other than West Bengal, U.G.C. affiliation certificate to be submitted.

NB: Any notified candidate(s) who unable to appear or fails to attend the verification process with complete documents as above, subsequent dates for verification/submission of documents will be notified later. Please be noted, as and when WBBSE receives further recommendations from WBSSC, date for verification shall be notified accordingly.

All original documents, as mentioned above, along with one set of self attested photocopies in blue ink ball point pen positively to be submitted at the time of verification.
