ORDER
With the passage of time, the workload of Kolkata Pay & Accounts Office-III has increased manifold. Therefore, creation of a new Pre-check Section namely PC-4 in the Pay & Accounts Office-III and placement of one Junior Accounts Officer in PC-4 of PAO-III has been under active consideration of the Government for some time past.
Presently the number of Junior Accounts Officers in Pay & Accounts Office-III is insufficient in comparison to Pay & Accounts Office-I and Pay & Accounts Office-II. In order to cope with the situation, it is felt necessary to rearrange the existing posts of Junior Accounts Officers among the different Pay & Accounts Offices.
After careful consideration of the matter, the Governor is pleased to create a new Pre-check Section namely PC-4 in Kolkata Pay & Accounts Office-III. Accordingly, one post of Junior Accounts Officer from PAO-II is hereby transferred to Pay & Accounts Office-III in order to manage the affairs of the said PC-4. Thus, the sanctioned posts of Junior Accounts Officers in PAO-III is increased to seven (6+1) while decreasing the same to 19 (20-1) in PAO-II.
